Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Find yourself nestled among pines trees just steps from the Bruce Trail! This 100 sq. ft. tiny A-Frame offers cozy comfort with two stackable twin beds that convert into a queen (side-by-side) when desired. Amenities include the essentials: BBQ, drinking and dish water, power box to charge devices and a small light, plus an outhouse with a composting toilet. Centrally located near Old Baldy Lookout, Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain and Duncan Caves. The perfect spot to relax and unwind!

The space
This is considered a “camping” experience as there is no running water or hydro present. A small power station is supplied for charging devices and a small pendant light, as well as drinking and dish water. There is no shower.

We ask that guests bring extra bedding as needed/wanted - we supply sheets, pillows and one queen quilt (this allows us to thoroughly wash all bedding between stays), but if you wish to have more blankets or we are expecting cooler weather we would recommend extra.

The outhouse is located in the trees approx. 30ft behind the A-Frame.

Cooking supplies are included such as plates, cutlery, cast iron pans and propane is included for the BBQ. Cleaning supplies are also provided.

BONUS - There is limited supply of firewood to share among our guests, feel welcome to use it! Mostly larger un-split pieces, so if you bring a small bag to get the fire going, our wood will keep it going for a few hours :)

Guest access
The A-Frame is located a short walk through the woods - approx. 1 min from the parking area. (You will need to carry your belongings)

Guests are welcome to walk the property but avoid the host’s residence to the west.

The Bruce Trail is located within walking distance and offers a leisurely hiking loop that brings you back to the A-Frame in approx. 1.50hrs

Other things to note
If there is a fire ban we will have to ask that guests do not have a campfire as it poses a risk of forest fire.

The campsite is completely private with a separate entrance. The host’s house is approximately 400ft away through the trees and slightly visible.

This year we acquired an outdoor stray cat who may pay you a visit. He is super friendly and fully vaccinated.

Just a reminder that this is considered a “camping experience” as there is no running water or hydro present. We recommend bringing items such as a cooler for food and drinks, flashlights, bug spray, and any other camping items you deem essential!
