"Kusanoniwa" is a tasteful building that was built over one hundred years ago.
It is a private house built in the same Hida Takayama area in the latter half of the Meiji era
which master Kawajiri, who built the Kusakabe folk museum, was working actively.
(The Kusakabe folk museum is located in four minutes away on foot.)

A must stay when visiting Takayama. Wonderful traditional Japanese house. Very spacious and quiet. I highly recommend. Host was very helpful as typhoon Jebi hit during our last day when all the trains and buses were halted.
