Ever since spending my toddler years on a forestry lookout I have been called back to the wilderness. It’s in my blood. As a young girl my dream was to live off the grid. So at age 24 I bought my Vines and Puppies cabin. For the last 15 years, I’ve been living and exploring the backcountry at my doorstep in all of its seasonal glory and now I want to share it with you. Come and experience my cozy B&B on the edge of adventure; whether it be on foot, canoe, kayak, snowmobile or ATV. I love to cook and bake; in the early days canning on a 2 burner camp stove and cooking on the woodstove. Now I have a full service kitchen completely stocked and am happy to make you a wholesome dinner. Some of my favorite things – hiking, fishing, finding the story in animal tracks, identifying plants, berry picking, watching the northern lights, finding the perfect tree to fall for firewood, hard work, clean spaces relaxing by an open fire, reading by lamp light.
