The space
Welcome to a stay in our authentic, small forest cabin!

In the fall and winter of 1942/43, about 1,100 Norwegian Jews fled to avoid being arrested and deported. The following year, 1,000 students fled when the Germans closed the University of Oslo in the autumn and arrested all the students they came across. This is a unique opportunity to learn about World War II and the dangerous journey that was a head escaping from Norway to Sweden.

Guest access
The interior of the cabin can be described as simple:

• A fireplace and wood logs
• Table, chairs, candle lights and flashlights
• Small kitchen area with a gas burner, plates, coffee cups and cutlery

There are two beds in the cabin. Pillows and comforters are also available.

The cottage is ideal for couples or two friends travelling together
