Our studio is ideal for couples and families, people travelling on business or for other reasons, who want to stay in a cozy domestic environment. The studio, which is on the ground floor of the building, has a private entrance and is about 35 m2, with all the conveniences of a private home and the comforts of a hotel. The property is furnished with all of the following:

One double bed and one single bed (second single bed available for children)
No breakfast, but free coffee and tea.

The space
One big room, Bathroom ensuite. Little kitchenet.

Please notice that this is an historical house, 1875. The floor construction is wood, as this is the way the historical houses are built in the center of Amsterdam. The floor are insulated according to the monument rules, which will not exclude "impact sound".

Recently we have had some bad experiences with some of our guests, so we feel forced to send our rules to everyone before their arrival. Please read them and let us know if you have any trouble with it.

House rules

• It is not allowed to bring external guests to the property
• Loud music and parties are not allowed at this property
• Guests are kindly requested not to cause any noise disturbance past 22:00
• The use of any drugs is strictly prohibited inside and in the direct vicinity of the property
• In case of violation of the house rules, you will receive one final warning. A second violation may lead to your removal from the property

The apartment is located inside somebody’s house. A family with children lives above the apartment. Most houses in central Amsterdam are old, are built closely together and have wooden ceilings/floors. This makes them quite noisy. This is also the case at Amici. It is therefore possible that you will hear noise from the neighbours. Unfortunately this is inevitable. During the night it is not acceptable, but during the day it is quite normal and generally accepted to hear sounds from the neighbours in Amsterdam.
