We found the apartment quite out of the way of the main action so restaurant choices in walking distance were not easy to find. The subway was a short walk away about 5 minutes. Only one stop away from Vatican City and 5 stops to Spanish steps. The apartment was comfortable for sleep however there was only one set of keys which didn't allow us to split up. Also the apartment had a bad smell that we noticed immediately upon entering.

Great location to the metro and the Vatican. Safe neighborhood and one block away from some really good restaurants. We were easily able to get to any part of the city and had a wonderful view of the courtyard. Really takes you back and makes you feel a part of the city.

Awesome response time both during booking and during check in/check out. Apartment is well cared for, and is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Always something to do just one block away, including several 24-hour places open on Via Doria. Complaints about the "neighborhood" are exaggerated. Book with confidence!
