Situated on a quiet cul-de-sac in the picturesque seaside village of Morfa Bychan with views of the neighbouring 18 hole Porthmadog Golf Course, Moel-Y-Gest Mountain and Snowdonia.

Neighbourhood highlights

The cottage is fortunate to be within strolling distance to some of the most scenic costal paths and sandy beaches in North Wales with coastal views over the Cardigan Bay area. The stunning Black Rock Sands Beach is only 800meters/15 minutes walk from the property ( through neighbouring caravan site) with the stunning secluded beaches of Samsons Bay and Borth-Y-Gest less than a mile away. Snowdonia National Park is right on the doorstep of Porthmadog.

The local village store and chip shop are within a few minute’s walk (seasonal opening times) with the popular and bustling harbour town of Porthmadog, where you will find all your local amenities, a 5 minute drive away. There is also a local caravan park with an entertainment complex to entertain young ones.

Portmadog is home to the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways and also the Glaslyn Ospreys Wildlife Centre. Other local attractions within a short drive are the historic village of Portmeirion and the castles of Criccieth and Harlech. Beddgelert is a quaint village a 15 minute drive away and is home to the legend of Gelert. You can also take the 30 minute scenic drives to Betws-y-Coed and Barmouth.

For the more adventurous guest Zip World Slate Caverns are less than a 30 minute drive and you can experience activities including the first 4 person zip line in Europe and an underground playground of suspended trampolines and slides.
