Stone Cottage that once was the head groom's house in the old stone stable yard that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth's bloodstock manager. The Cottage has been renovated in a tasteful traditional style. In a rural location but just 35 minutes from Dublin airport. It lies in the Boyne valley midway between the megalithic monuments at Newgrange and Tara, the traditional hall of the Irish High Kings.

The cottage is very cute, and in a great countryside location. It’s history as Queen Elizabeth’s bloodstock manager’s residence is interesting, as well. About a 15 minute drive from Slane, New Grange. It slept 5 of us very comfortably. The wood stove is a nice touch.

The Grooms Cottage is a great AirBNB: the quality of the linens, towels, decor, etc are well above the quality of others that we've experienced and just made the stay so much more relaxing and comfortable. Also the cottage is well decorated and everything is clean and perfect…

A quite countryside location, close to all the neolithic sites. Easy acces to the N2. Nicely renovated historic building.

This is a nice place with impressive grounds. The building itself is a nice conversion but maintaining a vintage feel. Stay here for some classic charm in a quiet setting.

We loved the quiet rural setting. A spacious quaint cottage with personal touches and modern amenities. Lovely self catered breakfast too. We hope to visit again someday. Thank you for your hospitality.
