The space
**COVID 19 note: House has complete privacy for your group. Each of the 3 suites has separate keypad door lock. Social distancing from others can be easily achieved. There are many outdoor areas on our property for guests to relax with their traveling companions, allowing comfortable privacy. Omena is a quiet, small village (population under 300) near many wide open spaces, parks & trails. Your room will be cleaned thoroughly prior to arrival, and you may check yourselves in and out independently. Housekeeper will not enter your rooms while you are here - unless requested for special needs. On grounds of historic Sunset Lodge, one-tenth mile from Lake Michigan. The charming cottage has 3 suites, each with private entrance, and a front porch with lake view.

Each suite has sitting area w/ gas fireplace, dining table, bar sink w/ refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker (supplied w/ coffee & teas). 1st floor "Rose Room" has King bed & twin daybed; 2nd floor "Northern Lights" has King bed & futon (full); "Arbor Suite" has 2nd floor Queen bed. Occupancy 8 adults or up to 10 with children.

Each suite has cable TV & Wi-Fi. High ceilings, original hardwood floors, many windows (with screens). No A/C - ceiling fans in all rooms, and pedestal/floor fans.

Many outdoor spaces to gather and socialize. Expansive lawn with beautiful views of Lake Michigan's Grand Traverse Bay. Patio, deck, pickleball court.

Short walk to quaint village of Omena with waterfront restaurant/bar (Knot Just a Bar), winery tasting room (Leelanau Cellars), art gallery (Tamarack), public beach.

Omena and Sunset Lodge are listed in National Registry of Historic Places.

Guest access
Laundry. Charcoal grill. Social Hall game room with stand-up shuffleboard table and board games. Lawn games - horseshoes, croquet, etc.

Other things to note
Dixie Cottage suites can be as private as desired. Each bedroom suite has separate entrance (with lock) and private bath. Common areas are the front porch and central stairs and hall.

No air-conditioning. All rooms have ceiling fans and many windows.
