This beautiful, traditional and historic farm house is filled with a richness of Irish culture, music and folklore. Lovingly restored using original flagstone and ash from trees on its own land. This home offers an unique experience to steep oneself in rare beauty. Filleadh na Fainleog is situated on the edge of the Burren just a 5 mins drive from the market town of Ennistymon and 8 mins from the seaside resort of Lahinch on the Wild Atlantic Way. The majestic Cliffs of Moher is 20 mins drive.

The space
County Clare is often referred to as “the home of traditional Irish music” and indeed this house has been home to four generations of traditional Irish musicians. You will see evidence of this connection in small little touches within this beautiful home.
This is a two storey, fully restored, traditional farmhouse which has been completely modernised within. You enter this home through the front porch and into the warm, cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and TV with Saor View free to air channels. This home also has oil fired heating and Wifi is available free of charge during your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances, crockery and cutlery and glassware you will need. The dining table can be extended to seat up to 8 people comfortably. This is a sociable house and one that is designed for coming together as a family or group of friends. It is warm and welcoming and filled with thoughtful touches.

Guest access
There are three bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people. Two of the bedrooms are located downstairs and each has a double bed and is ensuite. There is also a main bathroom downstairs with a level access shower and a bath so this house, while not adapted for wheelchair users, would certainly be appropriate for anyone with slight mobility issues. The third bedroom is upstairs and it too has a double bed and is ensuite with shower. There is a mezzanine area upstairs with a sofa bed which would be suitable for one additional person if required.

Other things to note
Arrangements will be made for check in with doorman. Babysitting service available on request.
