There is an open kitchen with new appliances. A large open living room with a cozy seating area. The bathroom is on the ground floor with a walk in shower and rain shower head. Two private bedrooms upstairs each with a queen bed and fresh linens. High-speed internet. Smart TV equipped with Netflix (no cable tv available). Plenty of natural light.

Guest access
Guest will have access to the entire private suite.

Private off street parking in large driveway is available across the street. Free street parking from April - October. Parking in driveway is limited to only two vehicles.

Other things to note
The State of Maine is requiring that out of state visitors (except those from NH & VT) sign a Certificate of Compliance stating that you have tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours before arriving in Maine OR that you will quarantine. By booking, you agree to comply with these requirements. Please search "Keep Maine Healthy FAQ" for more info.

The apartment has one bathroom which is on the first floor while the bedrooms are up a short staircase on the second floor.

There is no washer/dryer or dishwasher in this apartment.

Summer temperatures in Maine tend to drop to the 50s-low 60s at night. But in case there is some unusually warm weather, there is a window A/C unit in both upstairs bedrooms (July-August) to make sure sleeping is comfortable. The downstairs has plenty of fans and lots of windows with good airflow.

Each bedroom door can be locked.

There is a Smart TV (in the living room) with access to Netflix but no cable or local channels.

The apartment is as spacious as a small house and has its own private entrance, but there are other units connected to the building. Guests should expect to see other tenants on the grounds.

Maine is the most heavily forested state in the nation and that means there are bugs. Bugs are attracted to light. The front door opens to the outside and outdoor lights will be left on for safety. If the door is open for long periods of time, bugs can and will fly in.

Orono is a University town. Peaceful and calm during the summer and bustling and vibrant during the school year. The apartment is on a residential street but a minute's walk from three microbreweries, numerous restaurants and quaint coffee shops. The Stillwater River with it's beautiful views and wooded walking trail is right down the road.

Hi! I’m an easygoing, untraditional Millennial, from Maine who enjoys the mountains, fresh flowers, cold nights, and feather pillows. My family owns a small local shop with a little bit of everything. I work constantly and have to travel out of town to truly get a day off. I am excited to meet all guests and hosts but will also respect your privacy. I like to keep all lines of communication open and will let you decide how much interaction you need.
