Less than an hour's drive from Dublin Airport this is a four bedroom two storey stone built farmhouse located on a working family farm. The property was originally built in the early 1800s, first appearing on the census of 1830. In 2006, it was completely redeveloped. It was knocked rebuilt and extended, using all the old, original stone. It has a large kitchen dining area, utility room with laundry facilities and downstairs bathroom.

It also has a sitting room and kids playroom. Upstairs comprises a master bedroom, ensuite and two more bedrooms, one double, one triple and the main bathroom. A fourth bedroom is currently used for storage of owner's possessions. If required, equipment available includes high chair, cot, pram, toys, books, changing station.

The house has wireless internet, satellite TV, underfloor central heating a wood burning stove and an open fireplace. It also has an original well dating back almost 200 years, now incorporated into the kitchen floor! It's visible through more than 30 mm of toughened glass.

The large garden and orchard is a peaceful retreat and views around the house are mainly rural landscape, with a working farm to one side. Close by are the homes of two other family members who operate the farm.

Our property is my husband's birth home, which was completely rebuilt in 2006, modelled on the original build, using all the existing stone. It's a farmhouse which dates back to the 1820s, and is set on a working farm. This is our first year to rent out the house so we are hoping to get some reviews up after our first guests arrive later this year.
