A taxi to downtown costs $35 pesos, or about USD $3.00 and can be easily flagged from Zapata St, less than two minutes from the house.
Cuernavaca, known as the city of eternal spring, lies at 5,000 ft in the mountains of Central Mexico.
Throughout the year, the sun shines every day with temperatures around 75F. The rainy season in the late summer months usually brings rain in the afternoon and evenings.
