A rustic log cabin that is solar- and wind-powered, the Indian Ridge Lodge has five themed bedrooms, Game Room, 2,000 sq. ft. Great Room, and mini library. Amenities include piano; projector; sound system; 5 freestanding stoves; ping-pong, and foosball, and pool tables.

We welcome you not only as guests but as family; breakfast & hot drinks with our family are included with stay. This price is for the Bear Room only. We have optional upgrades and other rooms available. See our other listings.

The space
This room has a comfortable queen bed and one carpeted bunk. Additionally, a large carpeted bunk spans the space over a cozy sitting area/additional bunk; we call this the "Bear Cub Cave".

You are encouraged to bring your own sleeping bags for the bunks, or you can rent them for an entire-stay price of $10 each. There is no fee for additional guests occupying the same rented area but each breakfast over the included 2 breakfasts is an additional $5.

This bedroom is in the basement and is accessed through a staircase that meets local building codes.

With sufficient notice, guests may arrange catering for other meals in addition to breakfast, or they can bring their own food and will have access to a full kitchen.

After five years of business, we have had numerous five-star reviews on a prominent search engine provider. We are just starting on Airbnb and will continue to provide the same excellent service.

Please let us know immediately if anything about your stay is less than five-star. We look forward to seeing you!

Guest access
Guests have access to the Great Room, Game Room, kitchens, parking lot, etc. Guests may also enjoy a walk through our 160+ acres and take guided tours through our greenhouses.

Other things to note
The nearest gas station is about 15 minutes away and has a small eatery in it (search the web for "Combo's, Fairview, UT").

It's about 8 minutes farther to drive to the nearest grocery store, so come prepared but if you forget anything, we have a supply of basic items.

Das Cafe in beautiful Spring City may be the best breakfast/lunch restaurant in Northern Sanpete County, so consider making the scenic 30-minute drive at some point during your stay.

Sanpete County is spotted with small towns, all together comprising less than 1% of Utah's population. There are many beautiful places to explore, and a sense of community among many of its residents that sets it apart from even Utah County, and especially from Salt Lake County. There are many small businesses that thrive off of tourism, as people travel from great distances to visit places of exquisite beauty (such as Maple Canyon, Skyline Drive, the Nebo Loop, nearby fishing lakes, etc.). Another large attraction in Sanpete is Manti, which is about 45 minutes south of us. By and large, though, an average Sanpete resident finds his livelihood in farming, ranching, mining, construction, or any other services related to facilitating or improving these.

After three decades of HVAC, we followed God's leading to set aside our heating business in the Salt Lake Valley to restore a lodge in Central Utah. The Indian Ridge Lodge, as it came to be known, is now an operational, five-star B&B and event center. We live in part of it and rent out part of it to guests. We focus on quality and try to glorify God with our service. We operate this as a family with our sons and foresee the long-term continuance of this endeavor as long as God allows.

During your stay
We live on-site and can regularly be seen going about the place preparing breakfast, performing routine maintenance, tending fires, attending to the air conditioning, and so on. However, we usually retreat to our side of the building to respect our guest's privacy or to work on projects and keep the place up. There's almost always someone around if you need anything.
