Dun Caan is a unique shore frontage property with outstanding views towards Raasay, the Quiraing and the mainland mountains.
Sconser is centrally located with a 25 minute drive to the Skye Bridge and 40 minutes to the Ardvasar ferry. This makes it the perfect base to explore all that Skye has to offer and ideal for outdoor pursuits.
We are only a five minute walk from the Raasay ferry, 3 miles from Sligachan (gateway to the Cuillins) and a 2 minute walk to the Sconser Lodge.

The space
The Heron room benefits from top quality king sized bed and bedding and amazing views. It is a small bedroom but guests have the use of a large beautiful lounge where there are lots of Skye interest books,tea and coffee and tv.There is a spacious en-suite shower room, and a fitted wardrobe.
We also have Curlew our twin bedded room that has its own shower room .

During your stay
We provide a cooked veggie breakfast and croissants , yoghurt, cereals between 8.00-9.00am .We are on hand to give local knowledge and have a wide range of local maps, guides and books.

Other things to note
Cycling, fell running, walking and hill climbing can all be undertaken directly from the property and the shore frontage enables water activities such as kayaking, fishing and snorkelling to take place directly from the front garden. The Isle of Skye Golf Club is directly next door and offers a friendly welcome to visitors. The wildlife from the property is spectacular with regular sightings of deer, otter, eagles and dozens of other resident and migratory birds.

Hi. Myself and husband Richard moved permanently to Skye after selling our business in York. We are very sociable, well travelled and love the outdoor life. We cycle and kayak together and do yoga and Richard loves to make home brew and cook. We are both vegan and enjoy the garden , and our dog Morris the lurcher.
