Primarily, I enjoy the company of people. I'm interested in their stories and will share my experiences if ask. After my schooling I sailed to the UK where I worked for 5 years in the asbestos industry. I returned to South Africa to enter the financial services industry. Aged 32 I resigned my directorship to follow my dream to sail the Oceans. Joined by my wife Caroline and son William we sailed to the Seychelles where we chartered sailing yachts to tourists for 12 years. Aged 44, my family of now 5, returned to South Africa and I rejoined the company. 2009 I moved to the family farm in Malkerns to prepare it for macadamia. In the first block we have 2000 macadamia trees which were planted in December 2018.. We now share this beautiful environment with you all.
