Hawthorn Barn is a wonderful, sprawling barn conversion hidden in the depths of a working Cotswold dairy and arable farm. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sleeps up to six and is completely child and dog friendly. A delightful barn that offers guests absolute privacy, breathtaking views and utter peace. The Barn itself was converted in 2007 and since The Countess Bathurst acquired it during the summer of 2013, it has been refurbished to her discerning eye with the addition of gorgeous rugs, sofas and other furnishings to create a homely and cosy atmosphere for all guests. It has all the charms of a typical Cotswold Barn, with lovely high ceilings and exposed beams, but also enjoys the contemporary touches such as 4G WiFi connection, television with DVD and Freeview, as well as iPod docks in the kitchen and master bedroom. All guests staying during the summer months will be able to enjoy watching polo with a free complimentary membership to Cirencester Park Polo Club, where top international players and possibly a Prince take part in this exciting equestrian sport. As members you will be able to park in the Members Enclosure and enjoy the Members Restaurant and Bar.

Hawthorn Barn benefits from an idyllic countryside setting with many lovely walks literally on your doorstep but also centrally located to explore the rest of the Cotswolds. You are less than a mile from the village of Kemble which has a village shop and choice of pubs, plus its on the main train line from London. Within a 10 minute drive you can reach the market town of Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds. You can spend your time browsing through the many boutique shops or have a drink at one of the fine pubs or restaurants on offer. A short drive away is the market town of Tetbury with its many antique shops where you can spend an afternoon exploring or visit the private residence of Prince Charles & Camilla at Highgrove Gardens. Within an hours drive you can reach many of the renowned Cotswold villages and towns such as Bibury, Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, Cheltenham, Bourton-on-the-Water and Bath.
