We have 2 nice guest rooms in our home with a double bed and 2 singles. Guests have use of the living room when they are here & we provide breakfast items if desired as well as tea & coffee. The kitchen may be used for evening meals by prior arrangement. We're a 5-10min drive from the M1 motorway & a short drive to beaches including Shelly Beach, Toowoon Bay, The Entrance & Terrigal with plenty of cafes. There's trees & birdlife & Tuggerah lakefront pathway/cycleway behind the houses opposite.
Comfortable guest bedrooms have ceiling fans, air-con (for use if necessary), a laptop desk and wardrobe. The guest bathroom is separate to ours and has a bath, a separate shower, toilet and sink.
We have a comfortable home with raked ceilings in the living area, a combustion fire for winter, lake glimpses and sea breezes.
Guests may arrange with us to use the kitchen for evening meals and there is also a BBQ on the balcony.
We could accommodate a child's port-a-cot or we have a spare foam mattress for the floor of the main guest room. We do have stairs though and no stair gate which might be a problem for toddlers.
We have a small maltese terrier dog who is quiet and well behaved and doesn't lose hair so should not cause problems for allergy suffers (like myself).
Blu-ray player with a selection of DVDs
Interaction with guests
We will greet guests on arrival and can be available for a chat and info or just give you space.
Other things to note
These is a lakefront path for walking and observing birdlife or if you have pushbikes or scooters its a great ride.
Arrival time to be arranged with hosts but will generally be 3pm or later. No parties but please bring a drink if you would like, the front balcony is quite nice.
Respect for neighbours would encourage a 10pm limit for outdoor socialising.
Please clean the BBQ if you use it.
Please only use the air-conditioners when necessary and they must be off by 10pm and when you go out. We do have ceiling fans as well.
Please put recyclables in designated bins.
We are water conscious so please keep showers brief.
Outside smoking is okay but pease use the ashtray and close nearby windows.
Clean dogs welcome (large dogs outside only) (verandah is undercover and the yard is fully fenced). Please pick up after your dog before leaving.
Have a happy stay and bring your smiles. :)
Myself and my partner Kevin have lived on the Central Coast since 2013.
Having moved around a lot, we understand the need to visit family and friends or just to get out and explore new places. It is just the two of us and a very shy and quiet miniature Maltese terrier.
We enjoy hosting and meeting new people and often their families, and sharing information on the area so you get the most out of your stay on the Central Coast.
We like to give guests some space as well so they can feel at home.
We are eco friendly so like to recycle and conserve water and energy when possible but want guests to be comfortable during their stay.
