Welcome to Portland Tiny House! Featured in Airbnb Magazine, this cozy home is located in the Alberta Arts District, just steps away from award-winning restaurants, cafés, bars, art galleries, and shopping. You can reserve time at the Kennedy School soaking pool or catch a movie at their theater, enjoy a craft cocktail at Expatriate, take a yoga class at People’s Yoga, or shop the local New Seasons Market. A popular Portland neighborhood to make your home base for the most memorable stay!

The space
We put a lot of love into this tiny guest house. The space includes modern wood flooring, ceramic tiling, modern/minimal decor and special vintage touches.

Includes a very comfortable queen sized bed, full bathroom with shower, kitchenette equipped for cooking light meals and counter seating for two. We provide Portland Travel guides and local recommendations….Need anything else?…Just let us know, we are more than happy to help!

(2 guests with a small child may be accommodated, please reach out with inquiries.)

Guest access
Guests can gain access to the house through a private entrance behind the main house. This entrance drops you directly onto the guest house patio. You have access to a shared backyard area with a chicken coop and an urban vegetable garden. Grab some freshly laid eggs for breakfast...they are delicious!

Check in is at 3:00PM. Check out by 10:00AM.

Neighborhood parking is free and easy! Street parking is always accessible and available.

Other things to note
The kitchenette is equipped for light cooking. We provide a hot plate for cooking, toaster oven, pots/pans, an electric kettle, mini fridge with freezer, and French press or pour-over for coffee. Please be aware that we DO NOT have a microwave/oven/or dishwasher in the kitchenette. The house is equipped with all the kitchen utensils, dishes and flatware that you may need to cook a lite meal or enjoy take out from a restaurant or delivery service. There are so many excellent restaurants within walking distance, take the opportunity to try a local restaurant or call for take out.

The Kennedy School soaking pool is a neighborhood amenity, make a reservation and for a small fee, you can enjoy a soak in the beautiful, tiled hot tub just a few blocks away! Make sure to grab a beverage at the hotel bar to take into the tub with you! Call the Kennedy School for more information.

During the sunnier months, our urban chickens provide fresh eggs if you are interested in cooking breakfast. The coop is easily accessed and just a few steps away from the tiny house. (Laying can stop or be variable in the winter months). Depending on the season, there may also be fresh fruits or veggies in our backyard garden and you are welcome to pick and enjoy whatever is available. In the summer months, there are cherries, raspberries and blueberries to pick in the yard!

It is also important to note: we do not have a television in the guest house. Should you feel like curling up and watching a show or movie, please bring a tablet, laptop, or smart phone and enjoy our WIFI. If you feel that you need a television for a comfortable and relaxing stay, this may not be the experience you are looking for. We do provide books, travel guides, hiking guides, magazines and decks of cards for you to use and peruse.

Please be aware that Spring-Fall (Spring especially) can be a time of year when sugar ants go searching for food and water in all Portland homes. We treat the house regularly during these times and remind guests to keep all food/sweets secured and all surfaces wiped down. Many times has a guest left a box of Voodoo Donuts out that incentivized ants to come searching in the tiny house. While we do not expect this will be an issue during your stay, we are always happy to help with this inconvenience if it comes up while you are in our home, please let us know asap if you have an issue.

Airbnb collects a Multnomah County lodging tax in addition to the nightly rate. A cleaning fee is also added for the house to be professionally cleaned and sanitized. It is important to us to pay our cleaner a fair, living wage.
