Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
The "Shack" is our rustic weekend getaway in Aripeka, one of a few remaining "Old Florida" fishing towns. A great place to enjoy Florida nature as it used to be. Located between Hernando Beach, Spring Hill, and Hudson; Aripeka is an easy drive to the many attractions in the "Nature Coast" and the Tampa/Clearwater/St. Pete area.

The space
Rustic and cozy.

Enjoy canoeing and kayaking on the Gulf of Mexico and the creeks and springs of the "back country" just a short paddle away from your backyard. A country store and boat ramp are a 3 minute walk away. Or just relax and enjoy the view on the back deck complete with hot tub, gas fire pit, and gas grill.

Sleeping arrangements include a double bed in the Bedroom and a bunk bed and separate single bed in den area. The kitchen is small but functional with all the amenities necessary for a relaxing weekend away from home including microwave, coffeemaker, and glass top range. The living area provides plenty of comfortable seating. The back deck includes a hot tub, gas fire pit, and gas grill and overlooks a canal and salt marsh. Guest also have access to a canoe and 2 kayaks that can be launched in the back yard. As this is our respite from the real world, we do not have a TV or internet, but cell service is good.

Extras include:
Canoe
2 kayaks
Hot tub
Gas fire pit
Gas grill

Guest access
You'll have access to the entire property. Includes a canoe on the premises.
