The Old Shoulder of Mutton is a Grade Two listed building and was one of 24 pubs in this tiny ex lead mining village. It has been restored to preserve it's original features and provide up to date facilities. In it's heyday back in the 1700's, Winster was one of the largest towns in Derbyshire with immense wealth from the 20 or so lead mines.
