Our cozy home is a place to relax and feel one with nature. The house was constructed from natural and recycled materials that insulate the house, keeping it warm at night and cool during the day. We live "off the grid" without electricity and running water. We have hot bucket showers, potable water, solar lights, usb chargers, and pocket wifi. Our home is slightly removed from town (10 min. walk), surrounded by farms and mountains. We are in an ideal location for campfires and stargazing.

This is a very special spot! We loved getting to stay in a quieter, more rural-paced part of town (the main plaza feels very touristy and high-paced, stocked to the brim with italian restaurants and souvenir stands). Staying here gave us a really different feel for Ollaya, and we…

Lucho’s earth house is the best air B and B we’ve ever stayed at. We loved getting out of town and enjoyed the simple life: no electricity, (hot) bucket showers, and the most incredible night sky. Lucho was so incredibly helpful during our time in Ollantaytambo and even cooked us…

The most memorable place I've stayed in Peru for sure! The lack of power or running water made the whole experience feel so much more serene and authentic, and once you're there you realise you don't miss them at all. The house was warm, super comfortable and absolutely full of c…

Hello, my name is Lucho. I'm from Ayacucho, Peru. In 2016, I visited a friend who was living in Ollantaytambo. While staying with him for only a month, I fell in love with the tranquility and beauty of this Sacred Valley town. It seemed like a place where I could grow and learn n…
