The space
This well equipped and marvellously presented home has three large ensuite bedrooms. With great views to the sea, Aran islands, Doolin, and Galway bay, Cois Farraige is one of 10 holiday cottages in a pretty well maintained settlement on the hill looking down on doolin and the Wild Atlantic Way. The house is decorated and furnished to a very discerning standard with premium beds, linens, leather suites, and bespoke NEW ZEALAND furniture and artworks. The house can accommodate 8 people . Two triples and a continental super king...you can book one room and request for others to be added on .. house is bright, airy, very quiet and has plenty of private parking. It is not suitable for young children, due to the array of valuable furnishings. If you do wish to include children, you must request in advance. Wi-Fi good. Access to all amenities good. Restful space, discerning objets d'arts... views to die for... and if the weather is closing in.. just chill and relax in total luxury. Whilst I am a dog lover myself.. I'm afraid that in respect of other guests, the house is not suitable for dogs . Breakfast included. Microwave available to re heat food, but no cooking options on offer. Please note our home is not suitable for children under 12 years old... too many expensive artefacts on display.

Guest access
Cois Farraige, the Gaelic for Beside the sea...has very large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. Enter via back door. There is large ensuite bedroom on ground floor for guests with limited mobility.. if requested. . Laundry service in house available on request with small fee of €5. Wi-Fi code in living room. Upstairs there are two very large ensuite bedrooms. One room has queen bed and single, the other has king bed and single. It may be possible if requested to allow a fourth person on camp bed in your room. €25 extra applies. TV in all rooms. There is so much original artwork and bespoke pottery and craft work to enjoy whilst there. Please note Cois Farraige is not suitable for young children. Please, however send me request if you have a child under 10 years old. Breakfast is self service continental. Key for bedroom must be left behind... otherwise €15 fee applies. Lots of parking on property, quiet and private. A true coastal west of Ireland experience.

Other things to note
Everything you need is on hand at Cois Farraige. at tiime of updating, Covid 19 recommended guidelines are all in place. strict mico cleaning before and after each set of guests. . Local mini market is just a minute away. We are on main route to the cliffs of Moher, the ferry to the Aran islands... a MUST do if time permits. Then we have wonderful restaurants and famous bars for food, music, and best of Irish hospitality you could wish for. There is a Michelin star restaurant just 5 mins drive. The Wild Honey Inn in Lisdoonvarna... however i very much recommend Sheedys in Lisdoonvarna for an even better experience in every way. Nearby is the world famous Burren Smoke house, with most amazing hot and cold wild Atlantic smoke salmon. In Doolin Village, The Ivy Cottage on Fisherstreet Bridge has the BEST FISH CHOWDER I have ever eaten. In Liscannor, near the cliffs, Vaughans bar and restaurant serves the best of fresh seafood and an eye watering array of premium Irish food dishes. Likewise all the pubs in Doolin serve excellent Irish pub grub... and the Guinness is always top notch. Also new to Lisdoonvarna, the new food offerings in the ROADSIDE Tavern and their pizza and steak parlour next door are most impressive. Pony trekking, surfing, hill walking and visit to Burren are all on hand. The fairly recent opening of The Doolin Caves also easy reach of the village. Music, Craic (fun) food, activities, the warmth of the locals... all to be enjoyed in the midst of truly amazing scenery ... a holiday to treasure for years to come. And if links golf is your passion, then we are very close to world renowned Lahinch Golf Links... and the beach there is a surfers paradise. West Clare has something for everyone, young and not so young... but the overall myriad of things to experience and enjoy is unrivalled. Every night at 9.30pm you will find fantastic Irish music in every pub along the 3km of Doolin. Mc Dermotts, McGanns, Hotel Doolin and of course O Connors. Don't delay any more, just book and prepare yourself for a magical happy and heart warming experience. While we may not always have the best of weather, the spirit of the place and the locals more than compensate for the wind and occasional rain!!!.

During your stay
I'm very prompt at answering phone calls, texts, what's app and emails. I have been a superhost on airbnb getting great reviews for my overall guest service. Whilst I am not there all of the time, there is always someone on hand locally to assist with check in, breakfast etc. I have included continental breakfast in the pricing. If you need some assistance with arranging bookings for ferries to Aran islands, booking restaurants or getting good neutral opinion on what's best to do etc, I am small tome of knowledge. Having lived in Doolin years ago and played music there... I play the Irish harp, it is fantastic to be back there again enjoying the comforts of my new holiday home and sharing it with others. To me.. nothing is a problem.... just ask me, and I will resolve your problem.... or at least do my best. I love unusual requests, do please ask me. As Covid 19 has presented us all with "new normals" we will endeavour to give you the very best experience possible but the social interactions will be slong official government guidelines.
