This is a great place to stay! Very comfortable and relaxing and very reasonably priced. Gretchen was a very nice host. It's located within walking distance of so much! And the subway is not hard to get to if you want to go further. We walked to TD Garden then took the subway back. It stops right near the aquarium which is very close to the wharf. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck of the boat and got to see other boats coming and going. We would highly recommend staying here.

If you have a small group who wants to explore the popular Boston spots, the Golden Slipper's location and value can't be beat! A cheap water taxi takes you directly from the airport to the boat, you're on a private dock behind a locked gate, and only a block or two from the Freedom Trail, T train, wharfs for cruises and tours, Aquarium, and Quincy Market. Gretchen is a very active host in contacting you and helping with questions and concerns. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Loved our one night on Gretchen's boat. My 14 year old daughter and I were in transit from Europe to Arizona. Taking the water taxi from the airport was fun. Gretchen met us at the boat and explained how everything worked. We explored Boston's north end for dinner and breakfast before we had to leave. Would loved to have stayed longer.

We stayed in Gretchen's place for two nights. Although the weather wasn't the best, we had a great time. Good value for being right in the heart of Boston. Super easy to walk everywhere and get around.

Fun alternative to expensive downtown Boston hotels. We went to Celtics and Sox games, walked the Freedom Trail, took a harbor tour, said hello to the Aquarium seals and enjoyed the view from the deck of planes, freighters, sailboats, water fowl and other Lewis Wharf denizens. No driving involved! Perfect for those who love boats.
