Stable Cottage is a beautiful cottage in the Cotswolds. Situated between the market towns of Malmesbury and Tetbury, and only 10 minutes from such famous Cotswold attractions as Westonbirt, Highgrove and Badminton. The Cotswolds are famous for their idyllic English countryside and villages. For foodies there are great gastro pubs nearby. Free wifi, pet friendly, easy access from Heathrow, and a warm welcome. The space
This stylish cottage is situated within the grounds of a country house and offers a rural retreat for those wanting to escape to the Cotswolds. The property is immaculately presented and has stunning views over the river valley. The property is located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and with plenty of nearby footpaths and bridleways, it is an ideal base for walking or cycling, and for exploring the local area.
The historic town of Malmesbury is just one mile away, and picturesque Tetbury is four miles away and offers a delightful selection of antique shops, delicatessens and restaurants. Cirencester is just 10 miles away, and the Roman city of Bath is also easily accessible. Nearby attractions include Westonbirt Arboretum, Berkeley Castle, Highgrove and The Cotswold Water Park, which offers a range of watersports and other activities. Well-known local events include the Tetbury Woolsack Race, Gatcombe and Badminton Horse Trials. There are also regular events at the Beaufort Polo Club and Westonbirt Arboretum.
The accommodation offers two bedrooms - a double with an en-suite bathroom, and a twin bedroom with an adjacent shower room. The open-plan kitchen and living room is well equipped with an electric oven, microwave dishwasher and fridge. There is a separate entrance hall, and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. There is a private terrace and lawn outside, that overlooks the river valley, and a tennis court and table tennis room that can be used with prior arrangement.
