The Orchard Hut is situated in the Kingcombe Meadows nature reserve.
This renovated space has a double bed, small wood burner plus electric heater and rustic electric lamps. There is a private outside space with a bench, fire pit with log seating. The Hut overlooks our apple orchard and garden. You have access to your own private shower and toilet a short walk away through our paved garden.

The Orchard Hut is situated in the Kingcombe Meadows nature reserve – 450 acres of protected SSSI nature reserve. This bijou hideaway is perfect for exploring the Jurassic Coast and our nature reserve at nearby Powerstock Common.
This renovated space has a double bed, small wood burner plus small electric heater and rustic electric lamps. There is a private outside space with a bench and fire pit with log seating. The Hut overlooks our apple orchard and garden. You have access to your own private shower and toilet a one-minute walk away through our paved garden.
You are welcome to bring one dog with you!
At the current time we are unable to offer you breakfast but hope this will change shortly.

Guest access
The Kingcombe Meadows Reserve is renowned for its beautiful wild flower meadows which have a fantastic display of flowers/Orchids and butterflies in Spring and Summer. You will be surrounded by 450 acres of reserve untouched by chemical and intensive farm management. We use traditional farming and conservation grazing methods to ensure that nature and wildlife thrive in this unspoilt sanctuary in West Dorset. All funds received by our guests directly contributes to our ongoing nature conservation and protection work across the county of Dorset.

During your stay
a member of Dorset Wildlife Trust will meet you and is available to offer help each day between 9am and 5pm. We have an on site warden to help outside of those hours in case of emergencies.
