My house is not a Hotel, but just a family house which, in a spirit of friendliness and familiarity, I make available to you the room available at the time of your arrival. All spaces are shared with other hosts. WI-FI, two bathrooms, always clean, large museum kitchen, laundry room, parking. Two lounges, to share or isolate, with the pleasure of the lit fireplace. If you have work, it's in the large noble salon. Clean cats and hugs.

The space
CAUTION: steep stairs.
During the restructuring / rehabilitation of the structure I tried to respect the different eras of construction, from 400 AD. C. around 1450, adding value to the exposed stone and aging the plaster with the use of "lands" applied with the "fresco" technique to restore the warmth of the colors of the Renaissance and Baroque period to the visitor. In keeping with meticulous historical and archaeological renovation, old staircases have been preserved, much less steep than the originals, but still fairly steep.

Guest access
you will have access to all parts of the house: the tower hall, the 1637 fireplace lounge, kitchen , laundry room, gardens, two bathrooms

Other things to note
CATS on site, clean and affectionate, but no cats in the rooms, thank you. In a relationship of mutual trust for obvious security reasons, certain limitations are imperative:
CIGARETTES: No smoking in the rooms, neither with an open window, nor with a closed window. The backflow of smoke into the other rooms will trigger the seven alarms located on the floor of the rooms. However, in winter, in very cold weather, when you light the large fireplace, you can smoke in the living room.
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES: the use of electrical devices of any type is prohibited in the bedrooms (stoves, mattresses, mattress covers, toasters, toasters, irons, kettles, hot or cold air fans, electric or gas coffee, etc.). Only the electric shaver is allowed in your room.
The violation of this rule will be considered as "fraud" and will give rise to a request for compensation and the immediate departure of the guest, without reimbursement of the amount of the days reserved.
WINTER HEATING, from October 16 to April 15 and beyond: the rooms are individually heated by an infrared catalytic stove with double security. The catalytic stove works with an NF-propane NF gas cylinder, French safety standards. A safety is on the cylinder, another is on the tap. The cylinders cost € 27.50 each.
Bathroom: a catalytic stove is at your disposal to heat the bathroom.
Kitchen: the kitchen is heated with a cast iron wood stove, which you will have to learn to light without smoking.
Living room: a large fireplace from 1637 will offer you the pleasure of afternoons or evenings by the fire, without ever adding wood before bed ... even if a fire extinguisher is at your disposal ...
Internal and external security: two semi-annual cameras monitor the parking lot and the entrances to the house.
A ground camera with daily memory protects and monitors your rooms.
CLEANING:
Maintaining the cleanliness and order of private and common spaces is under the personal responsibility and vis-à-vis other users.
Repeated violation and non-compliance with the house user manual will be considered as "fraud" and will give rise to a request to abandon the house. Compensation will be obtained with the non-return of the part of the unused days.

Nicknamed "Little Tuscany", Val Tidone, where my house is located; has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. For thousands of years it has been the route of salt, nuts, oil, wood because it reaches the Tirrenian coast in north-central Italy (130 km from Genova, 150 km from CINQUE TERRE). Belonging to the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza (Ducato Parma e Piacenza), the Val Tidone has a very high concentration of historic site and all eras are represented there: from the Bronze Age, to the Etruscans, to the Romans, to the Gauls, to the Year of the Thousand, until 'in the Renaissance.
