A big tent with a bed and a wood stove. This yurt has kept people cozy year-round for a decade. Daytrip to Algonquin Park, visit the Opeongo Hills Nordic Ski Club, check out local artisans or the historic Wilno Tavern. Fall asleep to the sound of the wind, wake to the sound of birds. It's self-check-in but text if you need anything. No running water so best for people with some camping know-how.

The space
We've lost track of how many travelers have experienced and loved this yurt. Staying here is a very relaxing experience, ideal for those wanting simple but comfortable accommodations. It's like camping but in a big, round, warm tent with a comfy bed!

All communication must be through text during your stay and not through the airbnb app, email or phone call. Communication in advance of your stay, and that is not time sensitive, can happen through the airbnb website or app. Thanks for your cooperation.

Guest access
Guests are provided with firewood and kindling. Please use kindling only as needed so a supply remains for the next guests. There's an outhouse nearby. Wifi is accessible from the driveway (not usually from the yurt itself). Phones can be charged in the yurt and there's one electric light. There is a firepit in the yard you may use.

Other things to note
Private yoga classes, as well as massage and reflexology treatments, available on site, with sufficient notice and for an additional fee.

There are quiet dirt roads where you can meander past lakes and meadows, just 1km away. Or, Wadsworth Beach is only 2km away. It's a very pretty and relaxing spot. Great for families or outdoor enthusiasts. There is another dwelling on the property where other guests may be staying.
