The space
Located on the lower level of the home, the Garden Suite is perfect for those that are challenged by stairs yet desire to stay on the most famous street in Cape May. Located five (5) steps down, this suite is very quiet. It is perfect for families with small children.
NOTE: This is a pet free house, including service animals, due to a severe respiratory issue with person living in house.

There is a large furnished sitting area with 42 in television. There is a separate table and chairs for dining.

There are two bedrooms: One with a queen bed; and the second with two (2) singles.

There is a kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, crock pot, utensils, sink. There is NO cooktop or oven because of fire code regulations. This includes any and all portable frying, and cooking devices( No electric fry pans, grills,etc). For the safety of all guests, and respect for this historic property, this rule Will be strictly enforced.

Private bath has walk in shower. You would be responsible for all bath and beach towels, as well as all personal bathroom items, including all paper products. We do not have daily housekeeping service, for apartment type accommodations

Guests have access to large rear , shaded yard which includes seating and dining table.

Unit has central air conditioning and heat.

***This unit is on the lower level with Maximum occupancy of 4 people, per rate quoted. Just to clarify , adults and any age infants, toddlers, children would total 4. There are 8 windows which allow good natural light; it Please inquire if you have questions before booking***

Parking for one (1) small to medium size vehicle on site. If concerned, please contact us before booking.

Each of our suites have private entrances. Guests have access to the front porch and rear garden area. An outdoor shower is provided to wash off after the beach.

We do NOT operate as a hotel or Bed and Breakfast therefore we do NOT provide daily housekeeping .

Bed Linens are provided for rentals, under 5 nights.
All Guests , for any rental , need to pack all bath and beach towels., personal bathroom items( soaps , shampoo, toilet paper, Kleenex )

For stays of five (5) nights and longer, guests are required to provide their own bed linens/ towels, and all personal items needed for the bathroom. Linen service for rentals 5 nights and over is available for a reasonable additional fee.

Hi, I have been the owner of the Prince Edward Inn since 1998. I pride myself on providing clean, comfortable and affordable accommodations located in the heart of Cape May. I love Cape May and this property and I am constantly making upgrades to the property during the off season in order to make your stay more comfortable. This is a family affair for us too. You will often see my sons, daughter in law, and grand children spending time at the inn. (You will also see them tending to maintenance and cleaning helping to keep in the property in good shape). Don't be afraid to ask them for help or recommendations. They can tell you the best Cape May has to offer from the best fishing spots to the best dive bars to the ghosts. While we may be new to Airbnb, we are not new to Cape May. I look forward to meeting you!! As a host, I strive to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. I am available to those who like to chat and hidden to those who like privacy.
