Abrams Creek Guest House is the affordable getaway set in a hemlock forest next to a spectacular mountain stream, with many natural attractions nearby. We offer shared kitchen facilities for you to bring and prepare your own food.

The space

We have six guest rooms in our Lodge Guest House. The rooms are clean and simple, with comfortable beds. Room L4 has a queen bed and twin bunk beds.
Rooms can be rented individually, or the entire lodge house can be rented for groups. Abrams Creek is near many extraordinary recreational sites, but is also its own destination. You are never far from our wild, whitewater stream that runs through a majestic hemlock forest.
In some places, the stream is a constant source of energy and playfulness; in other places, it is peaceful and calming, inviting you to soak in its beauty. The forest offers a vast array of plants, and signs of wildlife are everywhere.

Guest access

20 acres of hemlock forest and a wild whitewater stream.

Full access to all common spaces including full kitchen access, living room, and rec room. We also have an open deck and a covered deck with full view of the stream, a large open yard with hammocks, picnic tables, a bonfire area, and an outdoor grill.

Washer/Dryer at $4 per load -- we supply the detergent.

I've stayed in a lot of hostels and campgrounds - I just like them better than hotels. Abrams Creek is one of the most well organized places I've been, and the folks there were friendly. I definitely would return the off in ball in the area.

Our stay at Abrams Creek was short, but comfortable. The surroundings was great and so peaceful. We woke up to the chirping of the birds, accompanied by the sound of the creek flowing nearby. This definitely provides an excellent ambience to the place. No cell phone signal, but there's Wifi which one can use to check routes and set navigation. Micheal was even kind enough to provide us breakfast, even though the listing said it was not an option. All in all, it was a great stay.

Comfortable stay. Great surroundings and Michael gave some good suggestions for the surroundings. Although breakfast is not an official option anymore, he provided us with some food as we were thinking it was. Rooms are a little noisy, but we didn't mind and slept easily!
