Chesil Bank is set in the stunning countryside just 2miles ( and on a bus route) from the beautiful market town of Monmouth. The Wye valley is on the door step with the rivers Wye and Monnow brilliant for water activities. A hop over the back field will take you to the glorious Buckholt woods, brimming with flora and fauna. This area is renowned for cyclists and we are actually on the John O' Groats to Land's End cycle route!

The space
Our rural working home is perfect for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a warm, friendly and homely atmosphere.

Guest access
The room has tea and coffee making facilities. You are welcome to use our lounge where breakfast will be served ( cereals, homemade bread, toast, yoghurt and fruit- cooked breakfast negotiable- or if preferred sat outside. You are welcome to use our garden.

Other things to note
We have moved here as part of a new lifestyle to slow down our pace of life, grow our own food and enjoy the countryside. Even though there is a road running adjacent to the property it doesn't distract from the beautiful surroundings. We have two dogs; Dexter and Betsy who will be very pleased to greet you!

Location

Monmouthshire, Wales, United Kingdom

Buckholt is a linear hamlet just two miles on the Hereford road outside Monmouth. The countryside is wonderful- hilly in places! There is a pub a mile along the road. Monmouth is full of history, delightful shops, pubs and cafes with the river running through it.

James and I gave up our full time teaching jobs to move to the beautiful Monmouthshire countryside so we spend our time doing what we love! We adore our cosy cottage and spend hours, upgrading the house, working in our garden and growing our own veg! We love our dogs and hens and spend time cycling and walking. We would be very welcoming and friendly hosts.
