This stunning Artists Home is a long traditional narrowboat - one of the longest you'll find on the canals in London. She has an open plan living-room bedroom space with a separate bathroom and separate kitchen. Ideal for a romantic stay away...

As the upcoming months are getting cooler extra blankets are offered. Remember to bring warm clothes and the option to light the woodburner is always available!

N/B I get so many requests I cannot respond to everybody apologies in advance!

The space
This unique space offers the rustic, romantic visit to the canals of London. She has a light spacious open plan living-room bedroom space with a separate bathroom and separate kitchen. The living room area has a woodstove with backboiler feeding a radiator, a couch, a piano (that constantly needs tuning) and table and chairs.
The bathroom has a sustainable compost toilet and the hot water instant gas for the shower and sinks. There is full running water on board. During the summer months there is an outside seating space ideal for breakfasts in the sun and the roof can be used with rugs and pillows provided.

During the colder seasons a multifuel woodburner brings wonderful fire to warm your hearts. With a back-boiler and two radiators down the boat this system will keep you warm with wood for instant heat and coal if you leave the boat for up to 8 hours.

Please note the boat runs off a 12volt system so best to bring car chargers for phones etc. But there is a 240volt plugs in the kitchen.
Please note that there is no fridge on board.

There is a double bed and a sofa that can sleep an extra person.

I will meet with guests to show how to use the boat in terms of gas, water, toilet, 12 volt system and also turning on the engine for extra electricity if required!

Depending on when booking takes place will depend on where the boat will be found. If you are hoping to stay for a week or more the boat can be moved to your specific location (spaces providing). Currently the boat can be anywhere from Paddington to Camden, Angel, Hackney, Victoria Park, Limehouse and the River Lea all the way to Waltham Abbey!

Tubes run from 5am - 12.30 pm with some 24hours on weekends and there are many 24 buses from all boat locations!

Pets + Children (depending on parental guidance) are welcome. The sofa is can be made into an extra bed and their is a travel cot and some books and toys and 1 toddler size lifevest aboard.
