Charming, modern self-contained property, perfect for a comfortable, cosy stay in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The rooms are light and airy, with a dual aspect living room. Views of the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons can be seen from the property and from the 2 private patio areas. The property is within 8 miles of Hay-on-Wye, 8 miles from Brecon and 12 miles from Crickhowell, perfect for walking, cycling, canoeing, gliding, horse riding and exploring the Black Mountains.

The space
The property is all on the ground floor with a small step over the threshold and one step onto one of the patios.
The newly fitted, fully equipped kitchen contains a combi microwave/oven, fridge with freezer compartment, electric hob, toaster, kettle. The kitchen is open plan to the dining and living area which includes a TV (with Freeview), electric fire, dining table with 2 chairs and a stool, and a day bed which could accommodate a third person.
The bathroom is off the bedroom and contains a shower, toilet and wash basin.

The property is situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park with uninterrupted countryside views from all sides. There are numerous walks on the doorstep including the waterfalls at Pwll y Wrach Nature Reserve and access to the stunning Black Mountains. There are many activity centres within easy reach for canoeing, horse riding, cycle hire, gliding, etc. Access to shops, pubs, post office and cafes are within 1 mile. Also within Talgarth is Talgarth Mill, a restored 18 century watermill with a riverside garden, bakery and award winning cafe. The world famous Hay Literary Festival taking place in May each year is just 8 miles distant, and Talgarth is on the Festival bus route for ease of access.
