We host entrepreneurs from around the world. Focused on technology, engineering, and startups, our tech island is a gateway to experience Silicon Valley and San Francisco. We are leaders and dream builders. You will leave enriched and inspired.

The space

We understand that there are plenty of shared living situations, so why stay with us?

1. The People
Our community attracts talented individuals from around the world. Whether you pursue an MBA, attend a developer school, start a company, seek funding, find market validation, expand your network, or hack a project, we provide a quiet and professional environment with people like you. Our guests are constantly scheduling events and meals together, and we have a private page to keep everyone connected.

2. The Space
The most common complaint of shared living situations is that there is not enough space to work. We furnish every room with desks and chairs, we don't overcrowd the rooms, and we keep a professional environment so that you have a quiet place to work, read, relax, study, and code. We have a garage with seating and work space and a spacious backyard with patio furniture. The weather here in San Jose is nice all year long.

3. The Food Plan
$7 per day gets you access to all of the community food - We keep the kitchen very well stocked. The house doesn't make any money on the Food Plan, it's just an added convenience for our guests. For the cost of 1 fast food meal per day, you get unlimited access to high quality nutrition, you never have to spend time shopping, and it is much more efficient and convenient than shopping individually. Plus, you get access to a much wider variety of food because we leverage the buying power of our entire community. Even if you still eat out once a day, this is worth it.

We pride ourselves in having the best cooking equipment: Vitamix blender, Keurig coffee maker, rice cooker, pressure cooker, toaster, high quality pots and pans, and cutlery. We also have private shelf space and fridge space for your personal food items.

We want you to eat well, enjoy cooking meals, sharing food, and making smoothies with fresh fruits and vegetables. We love food!

4. Comfort
We strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have invested in high quality mattress, pillows, and sheets to ensure that you sleep well. We provide ear plugs for light sleepers, and nasal strips for those who snore. Our house stays clean because everyone contributes. If you make a mess, clean it up. Sheets and towels are cleaned by the house, so you always have access to clean bedding.

Interaction with guests

We live here and work from home, so we are always available and happy to assist you with anything you need. Our guests love to share meals and interesting conversation, attend events and meetups, play games, watch shows, and throw BBQs.

Other things to note

We do not accept reservations outside of AirBnB.

If you are unhappy with your stay we will provide an immediate refund.

Our rooms are shared, so it's possible that you might share a room with male and female guests. If you have a strong preference for a male-only/female-only room, please check with us before booking.

We reserve the right to ask any guest to leave for being sexist, racist, homophobic, rude, disruptive, or violating others' personal space.

Guests are expected to change their sheets every 2 weeks. Clean sheets can be found in the hallway closet. Used sheets should be placed in the laundry basket in garage to be washed.

We prohibit smoking of any kind (marijuana, tobacco, e-cigarettes, hookah) in the house, in the back yard, or in the court in front of the house. If you do smoke, we will ask you to walk around the block while you smoke and to dispose of the cigarette butts in the trash rather than on the ground.

If you snore loudly, we may ask you to wear Breathe Right nasal strips when you sleep in order to minimize the disturbance to others.

If someone is wearing headphones, it may be a sign that they are working. If so, please do not disturb them.

Drew is a great host always looking to make your experience better. He frequently checks in with you and encourages criticism while not being too persistent. I stayed at one of his locations for about an month. The stay was positive and allowed me to be very productive. I highly recommend staying at Drew's. I will mention that older guests may not feel comfortable. There are many people at the house and privacy is somewhat limited. But is a perfect environment for younger guests looking to network and make friends.

Drew's place is really great. He designed the space for people who want to get stuff done but definitely want to have fun too, with whiteboards everywhere, full amenities, and plenty to do always. The place seems to attract great and interesting people, and there's definitely a sort of community vibe. So whether it's watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine or Silicon Valley on TV, talking about hobbies or grabbing In-N-Out Burger, you're bound to have a good time. As for the house itself, it's kept spectacularly clean, and there's something about walking into a house that just smells fresh that gets me every time I step through the door. The house is quite stylish and up-to-date, and definitely look into the meal plan if you're someone who likes to cook. Have a conversation with Drew sometime about exactly why he offers the meal plan and you'll get a sense of what I mean. Fruits, vegetables, grains, and oils and spices you've never heard of, it's quite the kitchen. I hear there's a nice backyard, but admittedly I've never been out there. I have been out front though, and enjoy jogging around the neighborhood. It's a nice area, very scenic for an hour or two jogging around. If I had to find something to complain about, which isn't easy, I'd say that it's not the best place if you're planning on getting around by public transportation, because it's around half a mile from the nearest bus stops. On the other hand, the VTA is pretty good about putting together routes that are very accommodating for getting around, and the area is much better than a lot of other suburbs where you'll quickly find yourself spending hours each day on buses and trains. Other than all that, its fairly right in the middle of things, an easy drive from offices of many of the big tech companies in the area, nightlife too. Really nice place, I don't regret a minute of it.

I am an information junkie and I love learning about culture, food, and norms from other countries. I host with passion, and I welcome entrepreneurs, engineers, students, travelers, and tech enthusiasts. My goal is to make your stay easy, comfortable, and fun. Our community enjoys cooking, playing board games, hiking, running, yoga, playing sports, comparing international cultures, and debating/discussing tech, business strategy, world affairs, philosophy, etc. The food here is excellent. We provide a huge selection and variety of food, and we love to cook and share meals together.
