Quiet respect for your surroundings . Strictly no smoking household . I support Wildlife Charities Worldwide especially those of abused working animals ie. dancing bears & donkeys. If u feel my service has exceeded your expectations, please donate to a WORKING ANIMAL CHARITY WSPA ( eg. donkeys & dancing bears ) in my name & ask them to inform me . I find myself having to drive people round more & more so "a tip " this way would be much appreciated .

I loved staying at Jeannii's place, I felt very welcomed from the very start, the garden and the view was stunning. I enjoyed getting to know her and I felt it was a home away from home. She went above and beyond for me, and I won't forget how well she looked after me. It was a very pleasant stay and would gladly go back.

This was our visit ever stay in an Airbnb and Jeannii made us feel very welcome comfortable and well fed. Jeannii has a great knowledge of the area and gave us great tips for our venture onto France! She's an amazing cook, our room was lovely and we slept beautifully in a very comfy bed!

Jeannii was a great hostess, very warm, very friendly and let us stay at a few hours' notice - she is also a fantastic cook, which was a wonderful bonus. Her cottage is lovely, and being 6ft was not a problem with the ceilings either. It's spotlessly clean and very pretty. Jeannii is great to chat with and gave us recommendations of where to go and even showed us the way in her car to Goodnestone House so we wouldn't get lost. We loved it and stayed two nights, in fact we chose to extend our stay as much as we could because it was so good. Her cat Mossie is adorable, although if you happen to have a cat allergy, it's woth mentioning that Jeannie keeps her home spotlessly clean and Mossie likes to stay in her own special cupboard. The bedroom has a TV, Egyptian cotton bedlinen, wi fi, all you need to be really comfy. Felt like a home from home.

Jeannii is the PERFECT host! We felt like a part of the family. Waterlock Cottage is truly a home away from home. We enjoyed sampling Jeannii’s delicious homemade treats, chatting about anything and everything, the delightfully comfortable bed, and of course beautiful Moussii the cat. We had what we thought was one of the best breakfasts we’d ever had - enjoyed on the patio looking out on to the countryside. Jeannii is a fascinating person with heaps of knowledge, and great advice about what to do in the area - we cannot recommend her and her beautiful home and garden enough to people visiting the area. There is absolutely nothing we can fault - and we travel a LOT. We would love to come back again one day.

We spent a delightful long weekend in Jeannii's little cottage. She is an excellent hostess - friendly, welcoming and generous - and makes a great chocolate cake!. Her cat, Moussii was a bonus - 21 years old and very much part of the household. We were fortunate with the weather and were able to make the most of sitting outside in Jeannii's beautiful garden. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a relaxing weekend away from it all. Claire and David (Brighton)

Response from Jeannii:
I don't tell anyone or myself what I'm making till I make it that morning. I couldn't make 2 poached eggs together in the same pan & had u objected to it, u could have said, David can have this one, I'm not keen on eggs so don't put an egg on mine & I wouldn't & I would have asked if u wanted an alternative . The same reasons I don't tell u I am making a chocolate cake for tea or offering u pre dinner drinks & a nibble before u go out.. Eggs are a common food to expect for breakfast & I did ask if there was anything u don't like. Your answer was NO so ............PERHAPS I should have asked it 10 times

Hi............WELCOME. This is a small period cottage built 1796 appx. so if u are over 6 ft tall, u may feel slightly squashed & I would hate u to feel uncomfortable. If you let me know your requirements in advance ie. hair tools, iron, washing even , let me know in advance…
