These two New Zealanders first visited Mexico some 4 years ago and loved it. A highlight of that trip was our stay at the Red Treehouse in Mexico which was fabulous. We didn't think we would top that experience but Casa Esperanza has done it. All aspects of our stay with Esperanza, from the warm welcome on arrival to our sad farewells were wonderfull. Esperanza goes above and beyond as a host to make you comfortable and welcome. She shares a wealth of local knowledge and her casa is both beautiful and very well located. All in all we feel that staying at Casa Esperanza made our trip to Guadalajara so much more enriching and enjoyable than we had anticipated. I can't rate her highly enough. We hope to return - we feel like part of the family now! Muchas gracias por todo Esperanza.

Everything at Esperanza's place was absolutely perfect. The location was in a great neighborhood, close to restaurants, coffee shops, and beautiful cathedrals. The room was spotless and was cleaned daily. The pictures are accurate, but I'd say everything was better than expected. Esperanza is so wonderful and kind, and really makes you feel welcomed and relaxed. This is by far one of the best Airbnb experiences I have ever had. I couldn't recommended it more if you are staying in Guadalajara, and I hope to return again someday!

Look no further for a most charming and w . beautiful bed and breakfast to stay. Inside the unassuming building is a gem of a place with rooms of varying themes. Esperanza is a kind and welcoming hostess who makes sure that everyone is well taken care of. She invites her guests to make breakfasts in her large amazing kitchen. Safe and. convenient location in the center of town yet it is quiet and tranquil.

Esperanza was a great host. She let me check-in early. The room is very comfortable and the courtyards in the house are just incredible. It is also very centrally located which was awesome. If I go back to Guadalajara, I will stay here again.

Espernaza is a wonderful host and has a spectacular home. It is close to great cafes, restaurants and bars in a great part of Guadalajara, although we could have spent all day at her place it is so beautiful. We had a great stay here and would love to come back one day. It is somewhere really special.

Once you enter the front door you stop. You need to readjust your eyes to a new experience! Colour, design fascinating objets d' art greet you at every turn. The room we had opened onto an interior courtyard. In the morning we helped ourselves to a well provided kitchen. It was fun to make ourselves breakfast.

Esperanza User ProfileEsperanza is a superhost.

Hi, my name is Esperanza and I am from a small town outside of Guadalajara. I've been living in Guadalajara for the past 40 years and I am the proud owner/renovator/decorator of my home decorated in a typical Mexican style (the architecture is from the "Porfiriato" era dating from the late 1800's).
My husband and I occupy the upstairs quarters and we are always available to tend to our guests needs, offering them a taste of our very well-known hospitality, while providing space and privacy. I enjoy listening to classic guitar music, reading, dancing, cooking, learn languages, meet people from different backgrounds and cultures.
