You will be upstairs with a private bathroom. You will also have access to the downstairs kitchen and living room. We are a block and half from the avenue in Hampden and walking distance from JHU. I also have 4 Homebrewed beers on tap always.

The space

Our house is located in a fully restored Baltimore row house from the 1920's, with the original hardwood pine floors, on a quiet one way street. You will be sharing the house with my girlfriend and me, but you will be in your own private suite of about 150 sq ft.

The house is in great proximity to Hampden's "the Avenue," which has quirky stores, a thriving restaurant scene, brewery, fun bars (including even a full belgian beer bar with over 150 belgian beers). Overall it is just a fun place with fun people.

Guest access

As a guest you will have your own bathroom and bedroom with a desk, closet, full sized bed, and beautiful view. You can also use the the main floor where there is a dining room, living room with full cable tv, and a kitchen. I also have a veggie garden outback which you could pick from if you come in season. There is also a great covered porch to eat dinner or hang out on overlooking the garden.

Free Wifi!

I also am an avid Homebrewer with 4 taps continuously stocked with a range of beer, cider, and mead that I have brewed.

I expect you to leave the house in the same or better shape than you found it. The room will only hold two people, but you are welcome to have any number of people over and hang out in the living room or on the first floor. I expect you to be respectful of my neighbors and keep your noise level down late at night, especially during the week days. But most importantly I expect you to enjoy your stay.

You must also acknowledge
Must climb stairs - Room is on the 2nd floor, so one flight of stairs is required to get to the room, and the house is 4 steps above the sidewalk.
No parking on property - Parking is street parking, however we live on a quiet 2 lane one way street, I have never had to park more than 2 blocks away.

Justin and Jui-Ko are both very friendly and did everything they could to accomodate me in the best possible way, while I stayed with them for a monthg, which wasn't always easy since it turned out that my asthma reacted quite strongly to the ventilation/heating system in their house. They provided me with a radiator and a humidifier. For the cold nights, Justin got me a Danish style duvet cover. Jui-Ko was even so kind to bring me loudspeakers when she picked up on that I was listening to music all the time - that was the best amenity I could have wished for, thanks Jui-Ko! The kitchen is very well equipped and the porch is a nice place to hang out. The private bathroom is big plus. Best wishes to the both of you, Rosanna

Justin's home is the perfect location. This was our second time staying here and we would absolutely recommend in the future.

The room is very clean and the bathroom is beautiful. It's tucked away upstairs and very private. The overall apartment is beautiful and the neighborhood couldn't be cuter. Justin was extremely helpful and easy to deal with - especially when I lost my phone en route and had to have another one shipped to me. Long story, but he was very communicative and went beyond his duty to help. We had dinner at 13.5 Wine Bar (amazing happy hour deals!) just down the street and lunch the next day at Holy Frijoles. Both were delicious and the wait staff was super friendly. For a casual night cap and a game of pool head to Frazier's. Shopping in the area is awesome too - lots of unique vintage finds and several cool record stores. Overall a great stay! I really can't stress enough how fun and interesting the neighborhood is. I'll definitely stay again if I return to the Baltimore area.
