Interaction with guests

CORNIGLIA, SUSPEND BETWEEN THE EARTH AND THE SEA Pave the way to Corniglia, but once you arrive you will not want to leave Corniglia is a small jewel perched on a cliff that gives unique suggestions, just have the urge to walk and climb a bit to discover the secret beaches. The village can be reached from the sea by climbing a brick staircase called Lardarina, consisting of 3 ramps with 377 steps, or along the carriageway rising from the railroad. The show is absolutely worth every single step. Overlooking the sea from a 100-meter high cliff, Corniglia offers a panoramic view over the crystal-clear waters of the Cinque Terre and an inhabited center surrounded by vineyards and terraces surrounding it on three sides. At such a special glimpse, it adds a village that deserves to be explored for all its beauty, starting from the wide Taragio square, the unmistakable atmosphere of the eighteenth century, with the ancient Oratorio of Santa Caterina which looks out among the homes.

We had a great 4 night stay. The apartment is well situated within the little town - just off the main square. The apartment itself was clean and plenty of room for two people. The large patio and amazing view were certainly the highlight. Though it was nice to 'unplug', we missed not having wifi which would have been helpful in planning our days and researching nearby activities though our host was extremely helpful in providing us access via a local cafe. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend to others.

Very clean and surprisingly spacious apartment with a great view. Cornelia was a nice choice to stay in le cinque terre as it is the quieter of the five towns. Great place to unwind and sleep at the end of the day. The other towns are a quick (5-10min) train away. Agnes was a very kind and helpful host, would recommend.

We just finished up 8 days at Fabrizio's place (Sept. 2017). It is spectacular! Location is fabulous - on the main street, 2 restaurants/1 bar/1 cafe right out the door. Quiet - at night, shut the windows on the street side and leave the sea side windows open for beautiful breeze and quiet (we also left the fan on to provide a little white noise). Apartment - adorable - just enough space for 2 people. Apartment was clean. The terrace is wonderful! Kitchen was well equipped. Little washer machine came in very handy. You do work for the view though (4th floor walk up). People - Fabrizio & Agnese are delightful people. Yes, there is a little language barrier, but we made it work just fine! Restaurants - We liked El Pirun the best (visited 3x!). We also stopped at the market near the apartment and purchased yogurt, fresh fruit and granola for breakfast. Margherita Bistro has wonderful slices of pizza. All the gelaterias are awesome! Sea - The trek to the sea is a bit of a work out, but well worth it! It was fun to try to navigate walking on the big rocks and swimming in the sea - which was cold, but wonderfully refreshing! Hiking - 7.50 each person to walk the trail from Corniglia to Vernazza. It is not a beginner trail -- wear decent footwear. It's worth the hike! We also did the high trail (which was closed - not sure why), so it was free. This was just as difficult, a bit steeper, but much less crowded. Arrival - A little white bus picks you up at the train station and drops you off right at Via Feschi - the street where the apartment is located. The bistro to meet Fabrizio at is right there. My phone wouldn't work to call Fabrizio, but I was able to message him through air bnb. Rita (housekeeper) came and found us within 10 minutes. All in all, it was a beautiful and relaxing stay! Thank you, Fabrizio & Agnese.

The place was clean, had everything I needed and close to shopping and dining. Corniglia was a great homebase to enjoy the Cinque Terre and the highlight was completing each day with amazing sunsets from Frabrizio's balcony.

Very nice, clean, and comfortable apartment. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! Great location too - in the heart of town with three restaurants right out of the door. Corniglia is possibly the best place to stay in 5 Terre. The least crowded and best for hiking. It also has a hidden and very picturesque access to the rocky beach - no need to go to Monterosa if you want to immerse yourself into the blue Ligurian Sea. Altogether wonderful experience!

Had a fantastic time. The apartment was both larger and nicer than expected and the view from the balcony was just incredible. Probably the best view in all of Cinque Terre (we didn't want to leave it). Corniglia is the most pleasant town to stay in and a perfect base for hiking and relaxing. Can't wait to return
