Welcome to your country retreat! This adorable cabin was originally built in 1930 and has been updated with all the modern comforts. Our property has mountain views and comes with 10 acres of farmland to explore. Relax on the back deck, take in the dogwoods and beautiful flowers, and get away from it all! Minutes from the Appalachian Trail, Devil's Backbone, and much more, we are ideally located to explore the trails, breweries, and wineries of scenic Nelson County.

This is a unique stay. It is essentially an antique general store that is on the same property as the owners weekend farmhouse. If you are looking for a private getaway this probably isn’t it. It is a lot closer to the owners home than any pictures show. The decks are not private…

This is a cute, rustic little cabin that is great for getting away in the Roseland area. The bed is great, and the place was clean, quiet and as described in the overview.

My daughters and I spent the weekend at the cabin for a spontaneous hiking trip. It was adorable, so well kept, and morning coffee on the back porch came with an amazing sunrise view.

Interaction with guests
We are a young couple who work full-time jobs in the DC area and try to come out here and enjoy the country life every weekend. If we are around we are happy to chat, show you the property, and provide tips on exploring the area. And we are always only a phone call/text/email…
