CLEAN, AFFORDABLE place in the MOUNTAINS. A place to relax and unwind. Perfect for couples, Hunters, friends, or families. Sleeps 6 people comfortably, with the option to add a few more on air mattresses. We are only 1.5 miles to national forest, with hiking/snowmobile trails, fishing, or ATV trails. Close to Cherry Peak resort, with skiing/boarding, and summer concerts. Fall is especially beautiful here. Please be sure to read all the house rules before booking. Thanks.

The space
Inside we have an eating area, couch, chairs, desk for laptops, a pool table, and games for entertaining. A gas fireplace to sit by, during the cool fall days, and
enjoy while watching people play pool, or to just watch t.v. We also have a man made beach on the property, where you can put your toes in the sand, play in the sand, and play a game of corn hole, or just have a picnic, and relax. A relaxing
outside balcony has a BBQ for grilling. Note: We don't have a stove with an oven. We do however have a induction stove top for cooking, toaster oven, toaster, griddle, and crock pot, and of course a microwave.

Guest access
Our place is easy to get to with a paved driveway leading up to it so you don't need to worry about getting stuck or having to have four wheel drive to get here. We have a keyless entry and a motion
security light that will come on if you arrive late at night. We also have a COVERED enclosed parking GARAGE, for those that have small to mid size vehicles. If you have a large truck you will be able to park outside, on cement pad in front of last door or on grassy area in front of garden. We have had trucks fit in our place, so it just depends on the size of your truck. Please NO MORE GUESTS, THAN YOUR RESERVATION HAS STATED! OR YOU'LL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITH NO REFUND.

Other things to note
Our Mountain side hideaway is located in beautiful Cub River Canyon in Preston, Idaho.

We are located 1.5 miles down from the National Forest where you can find fishing, hiking, ATV riding, snowmobiling, camping etc. If your ATV'S are road registered you can leave right from our place, otherwise you can drive your trailer up 1.5 miles to free parking and go from there.

We have room for parking your snowmobile and ATV trailers. There are plenty of riding
trails from our house. We have rode all the way over to Bear Lake for lunch and back. There is also some hidden ice caves you can ride to. Both of these rides are beautiful and fun. Pack a lunch for the day, go explore and return to our place for a relaxing shower, a place to fix a meal, play some games, billiards or watch t.v. to end your day. Our place is very quiet and relaxing.

The last weekend in July Preston holds their "Famous Preston Night Rodeo, Carnival and Parades on Thurs. Fri. and Sat. There are also sidewalk sales going on during these three days. Also, the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving is
the "Festival of Lights" where there is a parade going through main street at night and once it's done all of the community stores and restaurants are all lit up at the same time, and stay lit throughout the holiday season.

Hi my name is Kathy, and my husband is Mark. We love to travel, and found using airbnb to be a fun way to do it. After traveling for a few years, using airbnb, we decided to try renting our place out in June of 2018. We hope to meet new people in doing this adventure. We love our area, and hope you will too. We love to camp, go on 4-wheeler rides, snowboard, gardening, and I love to paint, and do crafts. We live in an area we can do all of these things. Our motto we love to live by is "Treat people the way you want to be treated" Our goal is to treat our guests the way we would want to be treated.
