Elegantly furnished one-bedroom garden cottage with private entrance and tropical garden in historic North Park neighborhood. Within walking distance of Balboa Park, the Zoo, fine dining, wine bars, golf course and more!
Enjoy graceful accommodations with all the comforts of home in our Spanish-style garden cottage. There is a private entrance, lush greenery, patio, two sets of french doors, private bathroom, full bed and kitchenette with bottled water, coffee and tea. Free wifi is also included.
Guests will have a key to their own private entrance and access to the garden and barbeque. There is plenty of street parking.
Interaction with guests
I enjoy meeting new people and helping them get the most out of their time in San Diego. I respect my guests privacy but will always be on hand to greet guests and make sure they have everything they need.
Other things to note
There is a two-night stay minimum and I prefer long-term guests. Please be aware that we require a minimum of five days notice to alter a reservation. If you make a reservation less than five days before check in it will not be possible to obtain a refund if your plans change.
Check in is between 1-9pm. Please arrange via email or phone what time you are arriving in advance.
The guest house is insulated and stays very cool in the heat and also warm at night. There is a portable fan available and also a portable heater.
Unfortunately, the guesthouse is not childproof and for that reason we do not accept guests with young children.
We do have three cats who share the garden with us. They might come say hello at some point in your stay so must be cat friendly!
Please respect our house and our neighborhood. Minimal noise after 10pm and please no pets and no smoking or drugs.
I am a retired massage therapist and have lived in North Park for twenty years. Originally I am from Lyon, France and am fluent in French and English. I have lots of practice hosting friends and family from all over the world. Some of my favorite travel destinations include; Marrakesh, Tahiti and Cabo. I look forward to meeting new people and welcoming them to one of my favorite places, San Diego!
