Mari's home was INCREDIBLE! Breath taking! This was %100 our favourite place that we stayed during our whole month trip in Italy!! We only spent 3 nights in Mari's house but we wish we had booked it for at least a week!! If you are considering staying here - book it now!! Seriously, you will not regret it! The photos on Airbnb don't do this home justice! It is even more beautiful than it looks online! When we arrived we were greeted by Mari & her dog Lynx. Mari was so easy to communicate with over email and in person. She was very sweet & kind, and even took the time to draw on a map for us and recommend various coffee shops, restaurants, lakes, and sight seeing locations around the various towns in the mountains! We really appreciated her help and time!! The home is absolutely stunning, very clean, and has all of the amenities you could ever need including a very well equipt kitchen, a fireplace, and many day beds, sofas, 3 balcony's / patios and 2 bathrooms! We even enjoyed a relaxing steam in the main floor high tech bathroom shower! It was so quite and peaceful up in the mountains & the drive to the house is very fun on curvy roads! Mari has lots of patio furniture, chairs and tables for many guests to stay! The home has a wonderful cottage, relaxing vibe, and is perfect for a get away in the mountains. The view of the mountains from the house is unlike any other view you will ever experience!!! There are no words to describe how beautiful it is!! And you can enjoy the gorgeous view from the living room bay windows, the patio, or the 2 balcony's! The town of Lagolo is very quiet, but there are many towns close by with many grocery stores / pharmacies / bars / restaurants etc. We also recommend spending one day swimming / relaxing on the docks at Lago di Lagolo! (and stop by Vincenzo's coffee shop for a beer / cappuccino. He is very sweet and friendly!!) Thank you so much Mari for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home! We will absolutely be returning to Lagolo to stay with you in the future! - Stacey & Matt!

We are four adults (two couples) who were travelling together for three weeks in Italy. While investigating places to stay in the Trentino-Alto Adige region we soon gave up on the hotel options because we desired more space and somewhere to relax outside the busier cities. We were looking to rent a mountainside cabin and found a jewel answering all our needs at Chalet Baita Marimonti. We booked the chalet using "Instant Book" four days in advance of our arrival. Marisa was an excellent and thoughtful host who responded to all our correspondence in a timely fashion. She was friendly and welcomed us with a tour of the property, an introduction to the area, and provided a wealth of maps and suggestions of what to see and do in the area. Marisa was a considerate and kind host who made sure we were comfortable in the house before she left us to our stay. The chalet is modern yet rustic and cozy with the most incredible views of the Brenta Dolomites mountain range. You can see several towns in the valleys especially at night when everything is lit up. We spent our whole first day curled up drinking wine in front of the fire and taking in the spectacular scenery to re-energize before we really began to explore the region. Some of our day trips included a trip to Bolzano to see Ötzi at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, nearby towns, castles, and archaeology sites. Many of the nearby attractions, shops, and Garda Lake kiosks are closed during late October. We rented a car in Trento for this leg of our trip and found it essential to properly visit the area. Lagolo is quiet and nearly uninhabited this time of the year. It almost felt like we had the mountain to ourselves! We purchased groceries and supplies just a 20 minute drive away in nearby Sarche. There are a few pizzerias in the area that opened after 6 p.m. but we chose to prepare meals at the Chalet to avoid driving after dark. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and dining. The jacuzzi tub was comfortable. It took us a little while to figure out how the steam shower operated but all the kitchen and bathroom appliances worked. The weather was beautifully sunny during our stay but windy. The temperatures ranged from 0 to 17 Celsius so we made great use of the fireplace. It was a too windy to enjoy the terrace but the chalet was toasty warm and we had plenty of bedding and linens. The internet connection was strong and reliable throughout the chalet. If you are looking for a semi-rural, cozy hideaway with spectacular views in the Trentino-Alto Adige region this is the perfect location. We saw many incredible sights during our three weeks in Italy but our stay at Chalet Baita Marimonti was one of the highlights. We would return in a heartbeat. Excellent accommodation and host!

The view is incredible! If you are looking for a cozy spot to stay in and enjoy the mountain scenery THIS IS THE PLACE. The kitchen was great for cooking and had everything you need! So nice to have a cozy fire at night. The host was very intentive and was available for questions/concerns. Some things to note: We are not Italian and didn't understand restaurants sometimes do not open even if their business hours online say they are. I wouldn't count on going out to eat being convenient in the off season (October). It looks like in summer the lake has a coffee house walking distance and would be great! Everything was closed up during our stay. Highly recommend doing some hiking or taking a drive to Lake Molveno.

This place has a beautiful cabin feel and a loft area that can be fully closed off providing privacy for multiple couples or larger families to stay here. We were able to bring our dogs, and there is yard for them to utilize, however it is not fully fenced in so don't leave them unattended! The home was very clean and at the top of a hill with a gorgeous view of the dolomites, and less than a 5 min walk to a small lake. We absolutely enjoyed our time here.
