Travel back in time while relaxing in this unique and authentic Romani “vardo” caravan and adjacent screened-in Parlour Caravan. Relax amongst the swaying cedars and the quiet solitude of our 18 acres of field, forest, pond, and trickling waterways. Walk the wooded trails and enjoy a farm-fresh, organic breakfast. The caravans are a secluded, memorable experience from the days when comfort was no extravagance and adventure was around every corner.

The space
A Vardo is a horse-drawn wagon and a traditional home of the Romani people. Like many such caravans, our Vardo possesses a woodstove, is highly decorated, intricately carved, brightly painted, and is gilded with gold leaf in places.

The Vardo has a romantic double bed and a décor that will make you feel otherworldly. While there's no running water at the Vardo, there is an outhouse with a chemical toilet and handwash station, and shower facilities are at your disposal in the main house. The Vardo and wagon are powered by solar energy.

The Parlour Caravan is a screened-in living room looking down a forested slope. A great place to sip cocktails, read tarots, or talk into the night while listening to the rain.

Swaying cedars surround our Romani and Parlour caravans and you are free to wander the entire property and its many nooks and crannies: an overgrown orchard, a pet cemetery, the old barn, numerous gardens, a trout-filled pond and picturesque bridge, or the surrounding woodlands. An outdoor firepit is located between the caravans and is yours to use.

Unlike most AirBnB listings, a full organic breakfast is included with your stay (vegetarian and vegan options are available).

My husband John and I have lived on the farm for the last thirty five years, and we've been hosting guests at our B&B for fifteen years. We love sharing out little piece of paradise.
