My Sea StewardShip is a 70' ocean cruiser built in 1980. She's got the style and soul of a Bohemian Gypsy Ship. She floats peacefully in her slip, amidst the most convenient of locations. Next to the beach and easy to get around town.

The space
This is a great cabin, perfect for a couple or a solo traveler wishing to have a bit more space. The bed is the biggest one on the ship and it's really comfortable. You can also enjoy the common areas with other guests and your ship´s hostess. The hatch over your head brings the breeze to your room and there is a fan also. There is plenty of storage too.

I also have two rooms for single travelers, you can find them through my profile or Googling

and "The Golden Nest"-

Guest access
NOTE- we have flexible check-in/out times and do our best to accommodate our guests varying arrival and departure times (e.g. you'll be able to leave your luggage on board till you leave for the airport).

Rosalie Claire is the name of the boat and she's a wonderful big ole boat. There are spacious sitting areas to chill out or socialize with other guests or even work if you are on a busy schedule. These are both inside in the salon or outside on the deck while enjoying the sea breeze. The boat has a toilet and shower and also Wi-Fi Internet for guests.

We have filtered drinking water available to refill your bottles. There are usually fresh fruits available and good coffee as well.

Honolulu is full of amazing restaurants. Many are just walking distance from the boat. I can give you some good tips when you arrive. I prefer that you don't plan to cook meals in my tiny kitchen unless we have agreed it on beforehand. Small snacks are of course okay! There just isn't enough room for all of us in there at dinner time. That said... When it feels right, there have been many spontaneous dinner parties with guests and friends, including Christmas Dinners so communication is key here.

Other things to note
LIVING ON A BOAT

It's a wooden boat so it's cozy and it rocks and squeaks a bit. Best of all though you are right on the water. Most people enjoy that.

Boats operate differently than houses so after your arrival I will tell you more about the basics of living on a boat. It is simple and you should think of it as a new experience.

You need to have a reasonable level of physical condition to step on and off the boat. As it is always moving to and from the dock a bit and you have to take sort of a big step sometimes over the water. Most novices just find this kind of exciting . It's quite easy but you have to take your time with it sometimes. There is a picture of the step in the photos.

A lovely cat called Boo Boo lives on the boat and loves people´s attention. Be ready to give him a scratch in the evenings! He doesnt go into the guests rooms but spends time in the common areas.

Find me on Instagram @gypsyship and see more pictures of what it is like to live on a boat in Honolulu.

Location

Fiji

There are a lot of activities to do around here! Surf off the boat, it is just a 2-minute walk to the beach. You can borrow snorkel gear from me. If you wish to take it easier you can tuck in the cabins down below and the world disappears.

I am a happy easy going woman who likes to surf in the morning ,and make a difference the rest of the day. I am very health conscious and consider myself environmentalist and social activist . My mottos are many , but Be grateful and happiness is yours. You can always strive for improvement but that's no reason not to enjoy what we have right now. Since hosting Air BnB guests last year, we have sailed from Honolulu to the South Pacific . We will be stopping in Fiji for half a year or more and I am excited to host once again. My partner Ben is a licensed and responsible captain and if you so desire, we can make arrangements to go sailing on our ship and visit remote islands in calm clear lagoon waters as well .

During your stay
I am happy to help get guests set up for their day in the morning and welcome them when they return from their adventures. I am friendly and will be here for them if and when they need me and most of the time I am on or around the boat.

I am a massage therapist too and have quite the magic hands so if that is something of interest, just ask about it.
