Welcome! I am so glad to have you as my guest and hope you enjoy your stay here.
My home is a "tall skinny", one mile from the beautiful sands of Hermosa. Your en suite bedroom/bathroom is located on the ground floor and is very private. Listed as a two person, one (double) bed, I can add a twin bed for $10 extra per night. The bed has a down comforter and the pillows are also down. An additional, synthetic pillow in the closet is provided too. Please let me know if you need a down alternative comforter.
The en suite bedroom, plus kitchen access as needed for continental breakfast (provided) and refrigerator storage. You are also welcome to enjoy my backyard and the library/office (should you need a workspace). You are encouraged to play my baby grand too (if you play the piano).
You are welcome to use the fridge upstairs in the kitchen, should you have any items that need that. I will provide a continental breakfast upstairs with coffee service around 7 am. Let me know if you have any food allergies.
Interaction with guests
I am at home, so am available for any questions or local guidance you may need.
Other things to note
I've said that I am family friendly, but I need you to know that my home is not childproofed, so perhaps a toddler or small child is not a good fit. I have lots of art and sculpture all over the house. Also, my two small dogs are very friendly to all ages/types, but they might be scared by an over friendly child. That said, I would love an infant or a tween/teen!

Please consider my home your home too, but appreciate the fact that I have a neat and organized space, filled with art. This is a quiet neighborhood, and I expect that you will also keep the peace after 10 pm and before 8 am.
Please no smoking in the house. Since this is a private residence; the homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises. The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that the guest(s) expressly assume the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

I'm a native Californian that enjoys the beach and all the fitness opportunities that offers - I could not live without a yoga workout, a walk on The Strand with my dog, a visit to my gym or a blissful hour of meditation.
I occasionally go out in the evenings and on the weekends. I love singing in my church choir but I also enjoy going to a local happy hour (there are many!). In addition, I like my quiet time at home listening to the radio, cooking, enjoying the patio and relaxing.
My home is my sanctuary and a folk art museum (or so my friends say), so I ask that my guests respect my space and honor my collection. That said, I'm clean, easy going and respectful to others. I LOVE to share my city and all that the South Bay and Los Angeles has to offer!
I have traveled the world throughout my life, starting at the tender age of four. Most recently I've visited Japan and Spain, New Orleans, Louisiana and Phoenix, Arizona. I am not a camper, but love finding quaint B&Bs and awesome hotel deals via the internet.
I look forward to meeting you!
