I have a modern apartment (140 sq/m - which is about 1500 sq feet) in a cool, Nordic style and located in the Frederiksberg neighbourhood. After five years renting a room out on Airbnb, I now rent out the whole flat when I am travelling on business. It's perfect for families. Ten minutes to the city centre by bicycle or bus. 15 by metro. Easily accessible by Metro from the airport and on two major bus lines. All the amenities you need.

The space
After five years renting out a room here on Airbnb, I am now renting out the whole flat when I am travelling on business. It is a family-friendly flat, with three bedrooms. The master bedroom and two kids' rooms, although they can accommodate adults, too.

The flat is ten minutes from the city centre by bicycle - on safe, separated cycle tracks of course - in the Frederiksberg neighbourhood.

Free wireless, no television channels except for Netflix (listed as a GOOD thing - although you can hook up your laptap to the tv via HDMI. There is a supermarket 50 m from here and lots of great takeaway.

The master bedroom is at the back of the building and is quiet. The two other rooms face a busy street, but the windows are new and drown out the sound. The listing says "no smoking allowed" but it you are more than welcome to lean out the open window or pop out into the back courtyard.

Easy access to the Metro (600 m) for getting here from the airport as well as two major bus routes - the 4A and the 2A.

Also, if you have small kids, we have a three-wheeled cargo bike for you to use if you need it. It's subject to availability.

Guest access
Wifi, bathroom, kitchen, back courtyard.

Other things to note
- Please be careful when raising and lower the blinds in the bedrooms.
- There is not a lot of water pressure in the shower. But that means we save water, which is good.
- Three of the elements on the stove work. Except the one at bottom right.
- Recycling: it's different in Denmark. You'll find the bins under the kitchen counter, clearly marked. Plastic is all sorts, with no food waste on it. No bags and no plastic attached to anything else. Cardboard is only cardboard... no food cartons and nothing else attached. Paper and metal are easy.

The Frederiksberg neighbourhood is quiet and cool. It is a ten minute ride by bicycle to the city centre and the neighbourhoods of Nørrebro and Vesterbro. There is metro and buses, as well.

I'm am urban designer, author and TV host and photographer and I love living in The City of Cyclists. One of the pleasures of my work is travelling around the world for work. I figured I would add this pleasure here at home by renting out the flat here in Copenhagen. Having international guests is always a pleasure. I'm single, an urban flâneur, a superdad every other week to my two kids, passionate about CLAP (cinema, literature, art, photography :-) ), thrilled by interesting conversation, happy to be living in Copenhagen.

During your stay
I always hope to be there when you arrive but I travel a lot on business, so sometimes we will have to arrange for keys in other ways. Not a problem.
