My friend and I stayed in the family room. It's spacious for the two of us girls and the floor is super warm! There is a hairdryer in the room as well, even though it was crossed off under the amenities section. There were three shared bathrooms, which were clean and enough for all guests in the guesthouse. For me, with a big luggage, it took us about 10 minutes to walk to the guesthouse from Anguk station. There were plenty of cafes and local shops around. This was a lovely experience, staying in a hanok.

Donny was extremely accommodating and his communication prior to arrival was clear and prompt. We appreciated him giving us a room with a private bathroom and extending our stay by one more night. The place is well-maintained and cozy. Location is perfectly central to all the sights on the north side of the river. On the last night, it got chillier and he was kind enough to put floor heating which kept us nice and warm at night. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Donny replied to inquiries very promptly and was very helpful pre and during bookings. We enjoyed the little escape from the busy hustle of stores and Hanok village. Make sure you follow the directions given by Donny with your booking as you might miss if you if don't look closely on a small side street. (This slightly uphill route may be challenging if you are on your own with over sized luggage.) The experience was as expected in the Hanok but with access to washrooms, showers, WiFi, air conditioning and a simple kitchen. There is bread, tea, instant coffee and cold/hot water available. There are also a few Hanbok available for a photo opportunity in their lounge. Most of the other guests respected each others privacy and time of day by keeping quiet but sound does travel through the traditional walls and windows. Definitely recommended if a Hanok is something you are looking forward to residing in!
