Our stay in Maximo's apartment was great! Even though we arrived early in the morning and previous guests had just checked out, the cleaning lady was ready to receive us. The apartment is fully equipped with a luxury bathroom, extensive kitchen and a cosy roof terrace. The location of the apartment couldn't be any better, it's located in a quiet alley between the beach (±15 min. walk) and the historic city center with loads of nice restaurants and bars (±10 min. walk). On the day of our departure we had a late evening flight back, Maximo was flexible enough to let us stay in the apartment another full day so we didn't have to drag our luggage through the city all day. I can do nothing but highly recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking to stay in Malaga!

This is a wonderful location for getting to know Malaga. A market, fruteria, pharmacy, and bakery are only minutes away, as is the Plaza de la Merced. The apartment is comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, and the terrace makes it even more charming. I especially appreciated the tortilla (from just up the street) and beer already in the refrigerator. My hosts were very attentive and responded quickly to questions. I highly recommend Maximo's apartment.

Great location This was the first time we stayed in a Malaga apartment when we have previously visited we stayed in hotels.This compact apartment is ideally situated next to the Plaza Merced on a side alley with no car access off a street with bus access. There is a 24 Hour taxi rank at the entrance of the plaza so getting to and from the bus station and airport couldn't be easier. Many restaurants and bars are just a short walk away. None within earshot to cause disturbance. The apartment is small and simply furnished with basic furniture. The bathroom and bedroom have lots of storage space and some toiletries are supplied I particularly like the open wardrobe. We were met at the apartment by a very friendly Manuel who was more than pleased to offer advice and knowledge of Malaga. The bottled water and welcome drinks were greatly appreciated. The apartment was very clean, there were some detergents and ample bedding and clean pillows. The bed was very low but comfortable. We were looking forward to using the roof terrace but did not sit on it and only used it to dry some washing. The main reason for this was that there is major renovation work going on in the building opposite and probably will be for a long while. The noise and dust spoiled the enjoyment of the terrace. I wiped down the furniture to use later and hung out some washing. Only to return to find a covering of dust over everything. The builders started early in the morning and late in the afternoon one day until 6.00pm. There was drilling,alarms,demolition,shouting and a mini jcb going up to the skip on the street all day. In fairness this kind of work is ongoing all over Malaga. It may be that it only occurs in off peak times and not the height of summer. Once the builders and gone we thought we would have some peace. The area is very quiet as there is no passing traffic as it is a dead end. However the insulation of the flat is ineffective as are the windows. Even with the wooden shutters closed there is no noise insulation to the groups of revellers who wander up the alley in the early hours with their drinks in hand looking to continue their partying. With the building opposite being mostly boarded up i suspect they think there are no residents. Also the neighbour directly under the bedroom had the TV on so loud from 10:00pm to 3:00am. Perhaps the bed being so low did not help the noise levels. However when the very nice next door neighbour played her radio on a morning I could hear that also. We took to sleeping on the sofa bed in the lounge to avoid the TV noise only to be woken at 4 .00 am by a dog barking for 20 mins on or floor. When I woke up after a very disturbed nights sleep...

Great location and the flat has good facilities which were very convenient during our stay. Maximo communicated well with us and was very prompt in answering any queries that we had before and throughout our stay. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

I was at Maximo's apartment with my niece for 5 nights and we both very much enjoyed our stay. I will try to summarise what I believe are the most relevant points regarding the apartment and its surroundings: 1. Location, location, location! The apartment is in the perfect location - in a quiet cul-de-sac off a main road, right at Malaga's historic centre, only a stone's throw away from most of the main attractions and walking distance from the sea front and the Malagueta Beach. There is a supermarket only 2 minutes walk away from the apartment and in the historic centre there are literally dozens of restaurants, snack bars, cafes and wine bars to please all tastes and budgets. 2. The Apartmen(URL HIDDEN) A modernised apartment, in a residential block, containing all the basic amenities one needs in a flat to spend a holiday. A nice bathroom with a bathtub and a good shower with strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. 3. Cleanlines(URL HIDDEN) Everything very clean and in working order. 4. Maximo, the owner, is very helpful and hospitable, quick in replying to communications and punctual in meeting at arrival time. All in all a very good experience!
