The cottage is a private familyspace, situated on a hillside with view on a lake - no other cottages in front. The parking lot is on the gravelroad behind the cottage with 30m to the entrancedoor. The cottage built in 1982 with a simple, traditional Norwegian standard; electricity, drinkwater from a well to groundwater is tapped from an outdoor krab reachable from kitchen window. Hot water is heated on the stove. There is a fireplace - inside and outside. No wifi or cable-TV but 4G, DVD, hifi.

The space
The cottage is situated in the midts of wonderful tracking area, as well as access to good gravel mountainroads for biking. The lake, 25 meter from the cottage invites for bathing, fishing and kano-padling. ( Fishing would need special permission from inatur). Here you are in midst of Norwegian nature with all the best of Norwegian mountain experiences.

Guest access
The cottage is situated 2 hours northwest of Oslo, with a car trip through Sigdal, which is called the Artist-valley (Kunstnerdalen). Here two main Norwegian artist: Christian Skredsvig and Theodor Kittelsen lived and worked. The artist houses are open for public during summer time. Also, you pass Blaafargeverket with exhibitions if famous Norwegian artists each year.

Other things to note
The guest would have to clean the cottage before leaving.
Also, guests would need to bring their own bedcloth and towels.
The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee, tea, oil and herbs.
There is possibility for outdoor shower, with heated water in a camping-showerbag.
Closest foodshop is in Eggedal, 25 min drive - orHaglebu camping, 15 min drive for smaller issues

This is mountain district. The cottage is 970meter over ocean level- with direct access to highmountain tracking terrain in 1200 moh. There are 11 cottages in the neighbourhood, none of them in front of the cottage
