Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.

The house is a partially modernized and renovated early 19th century traditional home farm on a 100 acre private estate, itself part of a stunningly beautiful small sheltered valley. Half of the land is mature broadleaf woodland. The fields are all managed organically for beef, lambs and wildlife. We grow vegetables outside and in polytunnels. Three orchards provide fruit in summer and autumn.

We had a lovely family holiday at Julian’s space. The property was in a beautiful location with plenty of space for the children. The house itself is slightly dated with a few upgrades to be made, but this didn’t detract from the experience with our family and friends. Julian was…

Anyone thinking of staying should read the host's description well. It is accurate and knowing what to expect will make sure that the guests who visit are the ones who want the kind of accommodation it offers. If you want wide road access and street lighting, this is not for…

In many ways this is a lovely space, shabby chic and relaxed and with generous space for a large group. The outdoor areas are fairly ugly and unkempt but the indoors makes up for it. We had issues with the plumbing however which meant everyone had to share the one shower. We did…
